Elegant Wedding Inspiration Styling for All Seasons
Today we’re delighted to bring you some styling inspiration for all seasons from the fabulous Lucy Davenport Photography. Joining forces with Indulgence Boutique Catering, she created a stunning, dual seasonal inspired shoot. Aynhoe Park is a venue they both know so well and the Orangery there was the perfect setting. The looks will translate well into any country house wedding venue setting – be it traditional or a little more quirky like Aynhoe!
Autumn/Winter allowed them to introduce a stronger lip and more dramatic eyes, as well as a structured up do. We just adore the rich jewel tones throughout this section of the shoot – proof you can be elegant and sophisticated yet more daring with your colour choices too. And doesn’t this food look mouth-wateringly delicious?!
We’re also thrilled to see so many Boutique suppliers included in this shoot – do pop over to the Directory if you would like to recreate some of the looks displayed here by Sarah Harper Flowers, Classic Crockery, Kate Cullen and Curtis & Co Cakes.
Collaborating with local suppliers where possible, they had two styled tables – one for Spring/Summer and the other for Autumn/Winter. Autumn/Winter was about incorporating textures and mood with a depth of colours.
In contrast, Spring/Summer was created using a feminine, delicate elegance with a pastel palette. We are rather taken with these subtle tones and whimsical bridal look – not overdone, just understated with beautiful detailing contrasting fabulously with the quirky setting.
The look was also echoed in the hair and make up for the model, as well as the dresses used from Ellie Sanderson (Halfpenny London, Jenny Packham and Claire Pettibone). The soft curls and plaits with the grace of soft lips and delicate skin tones are the perfect foil to the season’s hues.
