Meet the people behind the Boutique
The Boutique aims to support and promote UK wedding suppliers that not only make exquisitely beautiful products and weddings, but that have fascinating and heartfelt stories to tell. We are all so much more than the tangible objects that go into making up a wedding. Love, passion and soul go into each and every one of our suppliers’ businesses – and that is what makes them stand out from the crowd.
The Boutique aims to champion these people behind the brands and really bring you something special. When you buy or book through the Boutique you are buying into a movement, an ideal. One where true skill and love of creating shines through.
We have a great team of talented and wonderful people behind the Boutique that makes it that extra bit special – meet hem here:
As a creator of hand dyed and painted ribbons and textiles myself, I know how much work goes into creating fine art products. The attention to every little detail, the craftsmanship, the hours spent making something ‘just right’.
It’s wonderful when you meet the clients that appreciate the extra mile you go to create something exquisitely beautiful and well-made. As a former wedding stylist I also know how hard it can be for clients with the love for these products to actually find them – and so the Boutique was born – the perfect pairing of couples with the appreciation for artisan skills, and the creatives that can deliver the exceptional products and items they desire.
We’re Thomas and Samantha, fine art wedding photographers based in the Cotswolds. As a husband and wife team we’d like to think we have the best job in the world as not only do we adore capturing the most amazing, natural and breath-taking moments for you to cherish and keep for a lifetime, we also get to experience it together.
Samantha and Thomas are the Boutique’s resident photographers. They are responsible for the boutique’s look book styled shoots and can assist with your product photography if required. They are also on hand to answer any of your fine art wedding photography questions and will be regularly sharing advice and real weddings over on the blog.
I design wedding stationery because I love being part of one of the most special days in your life. Designing beautiful stationery that you can keep forever and which reminds you of that day, long after the I do’s and first dance, gives me a huge sense of joy.
I’ve been in the design industry for 12 years and started my business 5 years ago. My vision was simple, to put the soul back into the design process and create paper goods that say more than words ever could about the magic of two people being joined together.
Gemma is the Boutique’s resident designer and stationer and will be helping with the design of the Boutique’s look books and graphic elements going forward, as well as featuring on the blog with inspiration and advice for your wedding paper elements.
Grace is Bramble & Wild’s owner & creative director. After obtaining a Foundation Diploma in Art & Design and formal training in Floristry, Grace founded Bramble & Wild in 2011. The shop and the flowers within are, in many ways, her hobby too. Her passion for all things creative and new-found love of gardening shows as soon as you walk in the door. When out and about, her artistic eye is always focused on what’s next for her shop. Grace is the Boutique’s resident florist and will be involved in all things floral as well as featuring over on the blog with her designs and floristry advice.
A detail obsessive, happiest when creating, whatever that might be. I studied Costume and Makeup for the Performing Arts, teasing out many a wig into an elaborate period style and creating the make-up to match. I was seduced along the way by the world of weddings, while planning my own, and realised that by happy coincidence my skills could be put to very good use working with brides. Less call for the OTT theatrical, but I don’t mind that, my style and approach to make-up has always been the more subtle and naturally beautiful. There’s something very special about being with a bride on her wedding morning and it always feels like a real privilege.
Alongside my make-up and hair services I also design and make bridal accessories; hair adornments, jewellery, belts and dress appliqués. I love the details, finishing touches, flourishes of personality accessories add. Over look them at your peril! I truly believe they make all the difference and complete your wedding day look. Victoria is the boutique’s hair and make up artist – creating beautiful looks for all our styled shoots and contributing to the blog.
